Like That
During quarantine, I used the extra time I gained from not commuting to finalize an idea I’d been considering for a while. Over the years, I’ve received a fair amount of positive feedback on my Facebook statuses, so I decided to compile some of my favorites into a book. This process included adapting Facebook’s digital aesthetic into a print format using Indesign and collaborating with illustrator, Darya Shnykina to design a book cover based upon my vision. The book sold out in 27 hours and is currently being carried by Amazon here.
Summary: A novel idea, "Like That" is a collection of 100 of the author's favorite Facebook statuses; the result of years worth of journaling, culled down into what may loosely be described as the memoir of a sardonic Philly-native. All of the statuses captured within have been penned by the author and run the gamut of humor, from observational to cultural criticism to simple musings.
